Jane's Long Exhale!!
I stayed in bed this morning past daybreak
to feel the permanence of time inside me.
Now I watch a daddy long-legs negotiate the wall
he falls and catches, falls and catches. not a smooth path
but from where I sit, it is a continuity.
I see how I could want to stay forever in that place before the breath turns after the long exhale.
