Good Morning!

It is another shimmering, shining, beautiful summer day.  I am headed out to Point Reyes to meet a friend.  Last night I attended a poetry reading in the city, a benefit for the scholarship fund for Squaw Valley poet attendees.  Jane is on the train on her way up to Squaw for seven days of poetry.  Each poet read last night their own work, discoveries and explorations conveyed in their own way.   We journeyed through humor, passion, anger, sorrow.   Five great poets and not so many of us in the audience.  Enough, certainly for a wonderfully intimate gathering, but it is curious to me that there were not more, and yet, it was also a Harry Potter night, so the word was well-celebrated and sought.

I go in and out of a need for words.  Today, I listen to the birds, and wonder what will capture my mind and spin it through the air.   How many trees will reach to me and me to them?

Saturday!   Another day blessed!
