Thoughts -

My book group is reading Carol Shield's fine book on Jane Austen this month. As part of that, I decided to re-read Jane Austen's books, and what is the continually beating theme - the impropriety, according to one elder or two, of one person or another for the state of marriage. And, then, there is Romeo and Juliet, taken from an event of the past, and brought forward in West Side Story. Why am I surprised to be involved in a universal theme? All melts in the warm smile of the sun.
