I walked to Sausalito and we went to see the movie Into the Wild. It is a must-see, tragic and poignant. It brought back memories of places I have boated and camped, Lake Mead, Lake Powell, the Salton Sea, Colorado River, and the Anza-Borrega desert. The moon shines in the sky tonight like a huge eye. I was lucky my walk was after the highest tide of the day or my walking route would have been underwater. "Happiness is Love Shared." I am still with the final words of this young man who died in pursuit of his own truth. Certainly his family is incredibly loving and brave to allow this movie to be made. It is a beautiful and inspiring tribute to their son.
